Welcome to North Pole Alaska Painting by Betsy Bear

This is the official site of the North Pole Community Chamber of Commerce. We are a non-profit organization serving North Pole and the surrounding communities of Two Rivers, Moose Creek, Salcha, Eielson AFB, and Ft. Wainwright, Alaska.

A Christmas town from the very beginning, North Pole takes pride in its patron saint, the Jolly St. Nick. Come visit North Pole where our streets are decorated year-round with a cheerful display of holly, candy canes, lights and names that evoke the Christmas Season. We invite you to explore and learn more about North Pole and the surrounding communities we call home.

  • NOTICE - Eielson AFB Conducts Night Flying Operations
The 354th Fighter Wing has begun night flying operations in order to increase the combat effectiveness of the United States Air Force. Night flying operations are scheduled through the end of January 2016. While all aircraft are scheduled to complete flying by the start of Eielson Air Force Base's quiet hours each evening at 10 p.m., some maintenance activity may be necessary after quiet hours. A majority of this activity will have little or no effect on the base and surrounding area's residents; however, occasional engine runs may be necessary to facilitate the next day's flying activity. The base will take actions to abate noise late at night when possible. To file a noise complaint with Eielson Air Force Base, please write down the time, date, and location, and relay that information to the 354th Fighter Wing Public Affairs Office at (907) 377-2116. If it is after business hours, please call the after-hours line 1-800-JET-NOIS. If you have any further questions regarding Eielson Air Force Base or its flying mission, please feel free to visit the base website at or call the Public Affairs Office.
