Annual Christmas in Ice and Christmas Tree LightingNorth Pole Christmas in Ice is an ice sculpting event for the whole family that lights up the Christmas season in North Pole in November and December each year. Food and beverage concessions are available in our heated facilities on site and the event is open to the public for a nominal entry fee. Ice activities begin in November with the presentation of the ice Turkey Carving on Thanksgiving Day. Following this initial Holiday, this ice art will be transformed into a life size Santa Claus driving his sleigh, pulled by his team of reindeer. The sleigh is an interactive part of the Ice Park with an active webcam poised to take your picture as you seat yourself within Santa’s Sleigh.
